At the beginning of the year, Artyom Lobov, by mutual consent of the parties, terminated the contract with the UFC promotion. One of the reasons for leaving Artyom was the impossibility to fight with Zubayra Tuhugov.
Recall that Zubayr Tukhugov was disqualified for a whole year.
According to the fighter himself, he left the promotion in search of a bigger fee. After leaving UFC, Artyom received a number of offers, including from famous promoters such as Bellator, ACA. But the fighter chose to go to the BKFC.
When Bellator made his offer to me, BKFC was offered more money, so I went to this promotion. It seems to me that now if I asked for such a sum as then, Bellator would easily have provided it, but now the price tag on me is several times higher than the previous one. In general, many promotions offered me cooperation. I had to communicate with such a promotion as ACA. Basically, I talked with almost all possible promotions. According to them, I am a very media person. A lot of fans and ordinary people like my fights. Therefore, I am interested in many promotions. The fact is that many are not willing to pay that kind of money that I called them. Artyom Lobov confessed in an interview on one of the YouTube channels.
